When a subject is laid out in tip form it is easy for the reader to skim through the headings of the tips tp find the answer that most suits there question. The amount of tips you provide is entirely up to you. There is no right or wrong answer but if you deliver a tip article in a tightly defined niche then five tips is enough.

One more example to wrap this up would be the hair transplant industry. Hugely popular so that a 10 tip article would be needed but if a guy is loking for laser hair transplant tips, once again very specific, five tips is ample.
Now you are armed with some information regarding tip articles, go write some and get them published for those backlinks. It will be a 2 pronged solution. Firstly, you will be getting valuable backlinks and secondly, the reader, or visitor, is getting valuable information to help them.
