You must take these things into account when choosing chair cushions for wooden chairs. Select the appropriate size of the seats – if the mattress is too tiny, it will be uncomfortable. If the size is too large it won’t look nice, plus the chair edges where the cushions overlap cause extra wear and shorten their lifespan.
Check closely to be sure that any ties are sewn securely into the seam of the cushion. When people sit and stand, chair ties take a lot of pulling and tugging. Ties have a much better chance of staying attached if they are sewn into the seam.

Should you select tufted cushions, make certain that any buttons are firmly sewn through all the the layers of the chair cushions, because it would be far too easy to lose buttons at the hands of a wiggly child.
