Used Tires and a Fresh Perspective

June 10, 2009

Easy does it Bill! Man, that boy is a tough employee. I’ve seen some back crushers, but this job has got to be at the top of the list. My name is Johnny, and I procured this business just over two years ago. I knew it would be tough work, but I probably underestimated it. I sell used tires, and I’ve got five acres of property behind the main lot, which is connected to the shop, that has six bays, and a car wash on the end of it.

Selling used tires, is a nice money maker, if you work it. We have got eight employees, not including my son Mike. If you want to cheap used tires please take a look at our web site. My wife left me about three years ago, and since then we have been trying to find a way to get over it all and calm back into a somewhat stable existence. Mike is my only son, and his mom doesn’t see him much, and I know that troubles the boy. He’s fourteen now, and he really could use her around more.

Well, back to the work. We inevitably got a system together that appears to be working pretty nicely. The forgone owner had let the place go, and it had taken us over a year to get to the point where were earning money, and the place doesn’t look like a junk yard. I reckon the next thing to do is to pave the parking spots, and put up a new sign. The name we have now is used truck tires and more. Well, that’s not our name, but the community is so used to that being the name, I’m a somewhat nervous about changing it.
