A Touchscreen Mobile Phone Revolution
November 23, 2008
2009 is shaping up to be a very exciting years for lovers of touchscreen devices. Apple stood the mobile telecoms industry on its head when it launched the iPhone causing an almighty scramble and unprecedented investment from the major manufacturers in an attempt to reclaim market share and launch an iPhone killer.
Could 2009 be the year? We think there is every possibility. What is for sure though is that there will be some major new releases which will see customers becoming more comfortable with touchscreen technology and manufacturers developing slicker interfaces with increased usability and increased “feel” touchscreens.
Two phones at the top of the list are the eagerly anticipated Nokia 5900 ExpressMusic and the beautiful looking and highly desirable Blackberry Storm.
The Nokia 5900 offers a 3.2 mp camera and a 3.2 inch touchscreen interface and will feature the “Comes with Music” service. Pay a little extra upfront and gain unlimited music downloads. Sounds more of an iTunes killer than an iPhone killer so this is going to be really interesting to watch throughout 2009.
The Blackberry Storm is a thing of great beauty. It has a full on screen qwerty keyboard, 3.2 mb camera, will have a capacity of up to 16gb and also comes with Microsoft Office compatibility to keep the suits happy.
To keep up to date with the latest developments visit the Touchscreen Mobile Phone Shop. Early in 2009 we expect to be able to offer great deals on the Nokia Touchscreen Mobile Phones and the BlackBerry Storm Touchscreen.
