Roving south of Limerick City takes you through the green dairy grassland of the Golden Vale to the city by the lee, Cork. Don’t forget to visit Foto Island Wildlife Park with its vast array of animals.
When you to stay in Limerick city you have to visit the Hunt Museum with its personal collection from the Hunt family. The museum displays a vast range of original Bronze Age, Celtic and Medieval art relics and archaeological finds.
A trip to King John’s Castle ought to be high on your list of things to do. This Castle was built by King John of England between the years of 1200 and 1212.
