The Secret To The Master Cleanse Success

Accounts of other’s experiences were very encouraging to me and gave me an idea of what to expect. A few of the people who I spoke with about the master cleanse diet who had attempted it did not have the discipline to get by the first two or three days. I’ve fasted in the past and never could last without eating at all as most fasts require. The master cleanse at least allows some sustenance (the drink which uses lemons is why it is also known as the lemonade diet.)
The Master Cleanse follows a simple routine, however it isn’t exactly easy. The guidelines are simple, the will power required to succeed is another thing altogether. Though I found a great book called the Master Cleanse Secrets that gives lots of tips & advice to make it much, much easier.
One thing touted is the weight loss from the diet but that was never my main concern. I did it for the toxin cleansing benefits. I feel really tired and sluggish lately and enough people have told me how much better they feel after a fast that I went for it again.
From what I’ve been reading the typical amount of time spent on the master cleanse diet is ten days, although it is not uncommon for people to stay on the cleanse for longer periods of time. I had no intention of going longer than 5 days as a trial run to see how I reacted. Considering I never made it past 2 days before that was quite an accomplishment.
With the secrets book as my guide I was able to look up issues and find answers to questions that enabled me to stick with it. Just from reading it I had much more confidence in my chance of success. That confidence translated into success.
Luckily I went to see my doctor for a check-up recently so the timing was good. I strongly urge anyone interested in trying any kind of fast to speak with their doctor first to make sure everything is OK before diving in.
The final verdict: I feel much better after the 5 days and I am considering doing it again. Next time I will shoot for the full ten days. One suggestion I can offer is to take it easy when transitioning back into eating (the secrets book gives excellent guidance on this.)

I really want to lose weight fast

In some ways, I actually feel like I’m turning into my dad. He was an enormously fat guy, with a great sense of humor and a devout, pragmatic approach to life. But boy, he was fat. And these days I’m growing huge as well. Now don’t misunderstand, I love my dad, but I really want to avoid getting to 350 pounds. Because once you get that far along, there’s hardly any going back.
So I’ve been doing a bunch of research on how to lose weight fast and easy. My wife says she will do this with me, saying that she wants to lose some weight also, which should definitely make it a lot easier to stay with whatever diet plan we end up with. There’s an awful lot of weight loss information out there
I’ll keep you guys apprised of how good the weight loss plan is turning out for us. I understand weight loss will be difficult, but it’s now or never as far as I can see, so I am going to really be working hard to figure out how to lose weight fast.
Bear Hunting on eBay

If you’re thinking about a bear hunting adventure but don’t have set plans yet, check to see what’s current on eBay. You can bid on a hunt or buy one outright. Right now these are ranging in price from $1000-$7000 and are located mostly very far north in North America. You can find a hunt in Alaska, British Columbia, Manitoba, and even Maryland.
Presently, there are just a handful of bear hunting listings offering guided hunts. When I looked in the spring, there were dozens. It appears you have to get in early to have a whole lot to pick from. Actually, it looks like there are just a couple opportunities for last minute planners in 2008, and the rest are for those looking ahead to 2009.
I find the bear hunting listings on eBay to be intriguing. In many cases they are not listed as an auction, but rather a “buy it now” item. This is often true of the bigger ticket items — I suppose to guard against losing too much money.
The listing price on a number of the bear hunts turns out to be just a down payment with another large chunk of change due when you arrive at your destination. Hopefully everybody reads the ad carefully. That could be quite a surprise.
The information in the ads promises remote hunting areas and almost a guarantee of getting a bear. They take care of the baiting and scouting and all the rest of the preparation. Sounds like the trips are as pampered as possible.
If a Canadian or Alaskan bear hunting experience sounds exciting to you and you’re prepared to pay thousands of dollars for the experience, it appears from the eBay listings that you will be well taken care of. The feedback rating on all of the sellers I saw was extremely high. That signals satisfied customers.
Roots, Rock ‘n Blues – American Roots Music

I fell in love with American roots music while I was in college in the late 1960s. The irony of that is that I was born and grew up in the Washington, DC area and had to move to Minnesota to hear the blues for the first time!
I should say that it was in college that I first heard the blues played by the original artists. I’d been a big fan of the Rolling Stones and numerous other British Invasion groups who were all playing their versions of the blues, or derivatives thereof. I just had no idea at the time that they’d been so heavily influenced by a whole generation of musicians that I’d never heard of.
In the meantime, there were American musicians playing blues and blues-influenced rock to small, but devoted audiences. Three of my favorites (discovered for the most part years later) were Lonnie Mack, Albert Collins and Roy Buchanan. Lonnie Mack is best known for his radio hits, but is a killer blues player as I discovered much to my surprise when Alligator Records put out a video of a concert with Lonnie, Albert and Roy at Carnegie Hall in New York City from the early 1990s. The concert was called “Further On Down The Road” and was a real eye-opener for me when I first saw it. It’s still one of my favorite videos.
With the explosion of videos on the Internet, there is a wealth of blues video footage from the 1950s through today. It’s a blessing that so much still survives from the early days. Watching some of these legends perform helps make it clear just why they are legendary.
